I'm currently re-reading (for the 7th time) the Harry Potter series. I don't know why but it is just good writing, with lots of attention to detail in the story and a good length for each book.

When I was in 6th grade my teacher didn't like us reading Harry Potter because she thought the author was an actual witch....

 

Seriously?

 

Yep! After awhile she handed out detentitions to people who read them in her class.

 

Oh yea plus thousand of books for school.... But I don't think anyone is interested in books about the ancient societies.... Or any of my English novels....

 

But I really need to read more of those Greek mythology books I think when I was like 8 I read Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief in 2 days (and I was like in year 3 so it was pretty special)

 

I tried once to read the Iliad, but was completely lost by the fifth page.

 

Reading The Selection... it's pretty good

In Search of Lost Time by Marcel Proust

Over 4000 pages long in 7 volumes.

Ironically I've lost a ton of time in those volumes

 

I think I need to read that
