er you're ping is horrible for less tan 50 miles away. I get 59 ping on houston, tx (where the server is) from NJ

 

Which explains how slow my PC is compared to the ones at school.

 

Lol tell that to Australia. In 7 year's we'll have 50mb/s DL and 5mb/s upload and the same crappy ping.

And Google is definitely doing it for the $$$$

Haven't had time for these but last month I did one and I had 34 ping Canadian Internet FTW!

 

Its supposed to faster.....yay! Canadian internet.

 

18 ping is pretty good though It might be your router or wires

 

The package we have is called "hyper speed 50" that defiantly isn't 50 and even when I am sitting by the router it tops out at ~10mbs down. My cell phone almost has faster internet D:

The ping could actually be pretty crap, and the server is just nearby.
Eg. this is my results using the best server, a server on the other side of Australia, and a server in California

 

If only...
I have never gotten above 5mb a sec for download. I should mention that the server by the looks of it is based (By my guestimate) about 20k away. In town, I would guess. This is also laptop wifi btw.

18 ping for ~150 milies away is pretty good

 

Just upgraded to 50 mbps. Still only getting 5-7 mbps ;-;
