They are going to continue making Star Wars/Star Wars games, there's just no longer a dedicated department thingy for it. They're shutting down LucasArts, but not the franchise.
They're cancelling the top two projects from the studio, but they still intend to license out the StarWars brand. So hope is not lost?
My life is over. From the age of 8 Star wars was my life. Disney you can go to hell. I wasn't looking forward to the new star wars movie but still, such a good movie production company (LucasArts).... Disney has made this world lose something valuable.... Go to hell disney and NEVER make another gay re-make.
Excuse you, the Disney remakes of the Brother Grimm tales were a big part of my childhood. Disney isn't stopping StarWars, it just isn't cost effective for them to have a separate studio for it. It's like having your toilet in another room from the bathroom itself. Disney's turned around and said that it would be easier to have them both in the same room, so that they don't have to maintain both. Then people like you and me, who've grown up with them in different rooms, really don't like that decision.
