InterServer Teleportation

Yes InterServer teleportation. ExE Between creative and survival. Now I do not know about a lot of people but I often lack the push to log out and log back in to creative repeatedly if we had a portal that would take me there and back I might be more willing to do so.

That plugins allows such capabilities obviously this would take quite a bit of work on max and the staff but i'm sure if the community wanted it maybe it could get done.

Or a hub server...we have so many servers right now i dont think another one for just a hub would be that much of a problem

 

I think it would it would be another server, we can just have hubs in each server.

We could put the main hub in survival? We're doing up the spawn at the moment, and it would also get people onto the server, boosting numbers.

 

This could actually get more players to come onto the survival server, if its easy and accessible from creative

 

Or at the very least, check out what's going on. I think that the main thing is the initial connection, and just getting people there. Even if the only hang around for 2 or 3 days, enough of them would enjoy themselves enough to stay.

 

When we mean hub, it's probably just going to be a portal room on survival and a portal room on creative and you can be transferred from one server to the other. Can't have a hub on one end without the other.

 

We have more than just survival and creative! We have snapshot, survival games and ftb!

 

I thought we got rid of the snapshot server? we can do sg, but does the FTB client let you connect to bukkit servers?

Nope, I've seen a lot of servers that work like a hub. I can pm you a few servers if you want to see what we mean

Yes, but really for example tons of people on creative I have never seen before probably don't even know about survival inter server teleportation might make it to where more people will play on survival.

 

Pretty sure there is a message broadcast regularly advertising the survival server...

 

Ehh but who actually wants to do that?

 

I remember one server that had something like this, it required spout to work

and thinking about it there may be ways to bring items from creative onto other servers :/
