It's mostly related to the 1.4.6 update. If you google "minecraft servers", the first link is minecraft-server-list.com. If you search 1.4.6 creative on that website, we are 4th on the list.

 

So there's no possibility that the voting system has actually worked?

 

Voting system working... I wish.

Savage Realms has at least 10x our votes, like double our votes for a month in a day. Then again, we do get new people, not sure how...

 

Voting helps a ton, and is the reason we are high on the server list in the first place. I'm just saying that before 1.4.6 we were averaging 20-30 players at peak time, and the day after the server updated we were well over 50. Voting helps steadily increase players, but the update is likely what caused the sudden spike.
